My foundation in dentistry started at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1987. I knew very early that I wanted to be extraordinary clinically as well as leadership. I started my continuing education journey at the Dawson Academy of Advanced Dental Studies in St. Petersberg Florida. 1000’s of hours of education and training over the last 30 years from various masters in dentistry and study clubs have given me a keen sense of judgment clinically. I have always exceeded the minimum state requirements for education in dentistry. Mentoring other professionals has also taught me at a deeper level.

The way I see it my education is a journey of a continual upward spiral of progress.

Years of experience, keen judgement and understanding of today’s technology helps me to give patients choices that fit their needs. My family is priority as well. I’m married to my soul mate and best friend of 22 years. 4 children and 5 grandchildren make my heart sing. I truly love my family and embrace real family time in such a fast paced world.

I love my church and sowing wisdom into the lives of others concerning relationships. Giving back to charitable causes such as Smiles for life (children’s charities) and Give Back A Smile (victims of domestic violence) make my heart sing. I love creating beautiful spaces, gourmet meals, unique celebrations and traveling.  Love group exercise classes like Tabata, spin and yoga. A day at the spa is the best gift ever.
