When Julie’s son was diagnosed with asthma at the age of 3, she struggled to find any solutions from Western medicine. Julie wanted to address the cause of the condition versus just the treatment of his symptoms. After months of searching for answers on her own, it was a chiropractor that eventually led her to the root of the diagnosis. Within only a few short months of natural treatment, the asthma disappeared.

This experience sent Julie on a journey to discover alternative medicine and live more of a natural and holistic lifestyle. Since Julie was an educator prior to having children, it is part of her nature to research as much as possible and share what she finds with others. So, it is no surprise that after several years of working for different chiropractors, she went on to receive a degree in Holistic Health Coaching from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in 2011.

Julie also has a Bachelor’s Degree from Central Connecticut State University in Elementary Education with a concentration in Math, Science and Geography and a Master’s Degree in Science from Southern Connecticut State University. This background in education and science has been a great foundation for her pursuits in the health and wellness industry over the past 14 years.

Holistic Nutrition Education is now her passion. She is currently available for one-on-one coaching sessions to help clients implement a healthier form of eating and living into their daily lives. Coaching sessions are based on each clients individual and unique situation. Sessions may include foods to fill your plate with, foods to remove, education on why particular foods support your body’s ability to heal, why certain foods hinder wellness, grocery shopping tips, recipe substitutions, cooking adaptations, tips to bring balance to your life, guidance on reducing chronic stress, creating a greater you and many more healthy lifestyle changes.

Julie loves to eat healthy and has developed an excitement centered around new ways to cook old favorites with healthy items. She is inspired to cook healthy dishes with fresh ingredients that are flavorful and easy. She offers a private cooking service for clients who are inspired to eat healthy but prefer not to do it themselves. Clients can sit back and relax while she detoxes their pantry, shops for the the cleanest ingredients and prepares your meals.

Julie has the innate ability to motivate clients to take action. She utilizes this gift to empower her clients to embrace life-changing experiences, enabling them to deepen their self-love, discover mindfulness and restore their mind, body and spirit to a state of health and happiness.
