Dr. John Gonino grew up in upstate New York and graduated Magna Cum Laude from State University of New York at Cortland in May of 1983. He completed his Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology and Sports Medicine at The University of Connecticut in August of 1984.  He moved to Texas to complete his Master’s internship with Dr Kenneth Cooper and colleagues  at The Institute for Aerobics Research in Dallas.

His doctorate was awarded by the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in June of 1991, and he completed his residency in Family Medicine in July of 1994.

For two years he described himself as a ” regular doctor”, i.e. , treat symptoms with drugs. Then in 1996 his wife Linda was affected by Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. It was their working together to find the underlying causes of her issues that led them to pursue Integrative Medicine.

22 years later their office treats people from 14 countries, 41 states, and over 400 zip codes.

One of the unique features of the Gonino Center for Healing is that they accept insurance for many of the services that they provide, which is somewhat uncharacteristic in the Integrative Community.

The Gonino Center has been witness to healing miracles in every area of chronic illness including regression of atherosclerosis in carotid and heart arteries, healing of end stage kidney disease, total healing of a man’s liver who was put on hospice 12 years ago for cirrhosis of his liver, 27 men and 4 women with low testosterone whose testosterone was normalized using zero testosterone supplementation. They have witnessed healing miracles with every type of autoimmune disease.

Dr. Gonino’s greatest joy is in watching cancer patients heal, many of whom have widespread metastatic disease.
