I was born in Michigan, raised mostly in Arizona, and have also lived in Indiana, California, Mexico, and now Texas. I am the fifth of eight children. I married the love of my life in 2008 and am a proud husband and father.

My passion for healing began as a teenager when I was treated for neck and low back pain and headaches with manipulative therapy. As I was involved in sports growing up and then majoring in Kinesiology (Exercise Science) in college, my interest grew in the human body and musculoskeletal system. When I learned more about osteopathic manipulative medicine and the holistic approach of Osteopathy, I knew that it was the best path for me to incorporate manual medicine into a comprehensive treatment plan for my patients.

I integrate complementary and alternative treatments with conventional medicine in order to optimize health, while minimizing side effects of treatment. My treatment protocol begins with Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment, lifestyle modifications, and supplements, but I will also prescribe medications or recommend procedures when appropriate. Patient’s most frequently seek me out to help with pain, leg length inequality, ankyloglossia (tongue tie), sleep disorders, gut health, weight loss, and overall wellness.

I am very grateful for the multiple opportunities that I have had to serve as a leader in and out of medicine. As a full time missionary, I was chosen to help supervise and train 170 missionaries in my area. I worked part time in alarm sales during college and then started my own alarm company in California working full time for over a year before starting medical school. In medical school, I was elected president of the Student American Academy of Osteopathy (an organization that provides medical students additional training opportunities in osteopathic manipulative medicine), was chosen as a teaching assistant to help teach the osteopathic principles and practice course, and was hired as a tutor to teach other medical students osteopathic manipulative medicine. In 2018, I participated in two leadership development programs for physicians through the American Osteopathic College of Family Physicians and the Texas Academy of Family Physicians.

My hobbies include exercising, hiking, water activities, listening to audio books, bowling, watching movies, traveling, and most importantly, spending time with my family.
